How to pause emails in Gmail

In some cases, they don’t have time to respond to emails, but Gmail users can pause emails later and process their inboxes after some time has passed. Whether you’re using the Gmail website on your computer or using the Gmail app on your smartphone, you can have Google remove the emails from your inbox and send you emails at specific times that you can manage.

How to Pause emails in Gmail

  1. Visit the Gmail website and log in to your account when prompted.
  2. Hover over the email you want to snooze over.
  3. Tip : The word ‘ nap ‘ will appear when you hover your mouse over the correct selection.On the icon that appears to the right of the email, click on the clock icon.
  4. Once selected, set a date and time to receive email notifications.

How to re-ring an email using the Gmail mobile app

If you are using the Gmail mobile app on iOS or Android, please follow these steps to pause emails to be answered later.

 

 

  1. Log in to your account when you see that Gmail mobile app message.
  2. Hold your finger over the email you want to snooze.
  3. The selection options icon is in the upper-right corner of the screen, indicated by three horizontal dots.
  4. The nap function in the menu that appears .
  5. Finally, set the date and time you want your email to be reminded.
