Zabka’s mother was a business liaison, producer and production assistant, and her father was a longtime assistant director on the Tonight Show, starring Johnny Carson, before moving on to production management, writing and songwriting.
From an early age, because of the work of her parents, Zabka studied to become an actress. When the family moved to California, he attended California State University, making his acting debut at the age of 18. Greatest American Hero (1983).
